My dark-themed thunderbird window has a white message window for some
reason, I don't have any issues with this as such but the composition
window is dark, and this runs into a quoted-text color issue which grown
up developers would have cought before it started breathing. I try gray
for quoted-text but that's not even an acceptable band-aid, what's the
fix? I like dark themes in dark and white ones in sunlight but haven't
even started going there, yet.

for me background #c0bfbc Text #000000

Not sure how, but I changed my quoted text to pastel bg & darkblue text.

that's cheating AND above my paygrade (with 4-7 OSes, at least two
